Chillulu is a friendly backpackers’ hostel with an on-site café in Yokohama’s bayside area. This hostel’s facilities include a common area with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and a self-service laundry corner.

Chillulu is located in an area which is highly convenient for attractions such as Yamashita Park, Motomachi Shopping Street, Yokohama Chinatown, and the old Western residences of the Yamate district.
The Dormitory
Bunk beds are available in a mixed dormitory. Each bed has its own light, power socket, and privacy curtain. There are also lockers with padlocks available for guests’ belongings.

The dormitory has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi internet access. Shared bathing facilities have hot water showers and wash basins. Shampoo and conditioner are provided for free. Towels can be rented for 100 yen and a toothbrush costs 50 yen. Hair dryers can be used for free.

Breakfast & Dining
Breakfast is served in the on-site café from 8.30 to 11.00 each day. Set breakfasts consist of toast, yoghurt and a drink for 500 yen, or sandwiches, salad and a drink for 550 yen. For your drink you can choose from coffee, tea or juice.
Chillulu Café stays open till 23.00 each day serving its specialty pour over coffee and a range of light meals such as sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, and cakes.

Other Services and Facilities
Check-in time is from 15.00 to 21.00. Check-out time is from 9.00 to 11.00. Room fees should be paid in cash and credit cards are not accepted. Free luggage storage is available before checking in and after checking out if it is on the same day as your stay.
Self-catering is available in the hostel’s fully equipped kitchen which has a refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster, induction stove, cooking utensils, and kitchenware. There is also a shared lounge space with a TV.
There is a self-service laundry corner with a coin-operated washing machine and dryer. The washing machine costs 200 yen for a single cycle and the dryer costs 100 yen for a 30-minute spin.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the building.
Guests can enjoy a free “welcome drink” each day in the Chillulu Café.
The dormitory is closed for cleaning between 11.00 and 15.00.
The building interior is completely non-smoking, but smoking is permitted on the café’s outside terrace.
